He has held a number of senior positions including Chief Executive of the UK Chamber of Shipping, Chief Executive of Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited, and Director of Marine Operations for the Northern Lighthouse Board. <br /><br />Guy’s career at sea began in 1982 with the Royal Fleet Auxiliary Service. He joined the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in 1993 as an Inspector of Lifeboats, latterly as Inspector for Scotland training and overseeing lifeboat crews around the coast and following this he served with the Ministry of Defence as a Salvage Officer and led or contributed to a number of projects including the removal of oil from a sunken World War 2 battleship, recovery of ditched aircraft and the refloating of a grounded warship.</p>

He has successively held the posts of Vice Director General of Personnel Department of Ministry of Materials and Equipment, Vice Director General of Personnel Department of Ministry of Internal Trade, General Manager of China Non-Ferrous Metal Materials Corporation. And he has served as Chairman of International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM), Chairman of Asia-Pacific Logistics Federation (APLF), Chairman of China Society of Logistics, Chairman of China Automobile Dealers Association etc.</p>

James E. Thompson, GBS, is the Chairman and Founder of the Crown Worldwide Group of Companies.  Crown Worldwide is a logistics company performing various types of warehousing and transportation services throughout the world. Encompassing more than 275 facilities worldwide, Crown is committed to making a positive difference in every community where we live and work. 
<br/><br/>Crown is also a leader in the field of household removals as well as information and document management with over forty-three million cartons of business documents managed from its worldwide facilities.  The company also provides specialized packing and storage of fine arts and provides storage of fine wines.  The Group has also built a large number of warehouse facilities around the world. 
<br/><br/>Mr Thompson graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He came to Asia shortly after completion of his university studies and has lived in Japan and Hong Kong ever since. He is a member of the International Advisory Board of the San Jose State University Business School. He also was awarded an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Humane Letters (L.H.D.) from San Jose State University and the California State University. 
<br/><br/>Mr. Thompson serves as Chairman or as a Board member of numerous charitable organizations.  His particular interests are charities related to children, cancer, education and art.  He is the Chairman of the Asian Youth Orchestra and The Honorary President of the Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care.  He has been mentoring university students in Hong Kong for over twenty years 
<br/><br/>Mr. Thompson was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star, Hong Kong’s second highest award, by the Hong Kong Government in 2003.  He received the Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as well as an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from his alma mater, San Jose State University in California.  He also received the DHL/SCMP Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014 as well as many other honours.

Mr Jack So Chak Kwong assumed the Chairmanship of the Airport Authority Hong Kong on 1st June, 2015. 
<br/><br/>Mr So began his career with the Hong Kong Government and joined the private sector in 1978, having held various senior positions in stockbroking, banking and property development. He served as Chairman of the HKTDC from 2007 to 2015. He was Chairman and Chief Executive of the MTR Corporation from 1995 to 2003 and Deputy Chairman and Group Managing Director of PCCW from 2003 to 2007. 
<br/><br/>Mr So is an independent non-executive Director of AIA Group Ltd and China Resources Power Holdings Company Ltd. He is also a senior advisor to Credit Suisse, Greater China. He was an independent Director of HSBC from 2000 to 2007 and Cathay Pacific Airways Limited from 2002 to 2015. 
<br/><br/>Mr. So was previously a member of the Chief Executive’s Council of Advisers on Innovation and Strategic Development from March 2018 to June 2022 and Chairman of the Consultative Committee on Economic and Trade Co-operation between Hong Kong and Mainland China from October 2013 to December 2015. He served as Chairman of the Hong Kong Film Development Council from April 2007 to March 2013. 
<br/><br/>Mr So was a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference from 2008 to 2018 and was an International Business Advisor to the Mayor of Beijing.  
<br/><br/>A Justice of the Peace, Mr So was awarded the Golden Bauhinia Star and the Grand Bauhinia Medal by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2011 and 2017, respectively. He received an Honorary Doctorate in Social Science from the University of Hong Kong in 2011.</p>

Hing Chao is the Executive Chairman of Wah Kwong Maritime Transport Holdings, Deputy Chairman of the China Sub-committee and the Executive Committee member of Hong Kong Shipowners Association (HKSOA), and a trustee of Hong Kong Maritime Museum. Hing is also the founder and convener of Greater Bay Maritime Forum, and the leader of the Greater Bay Area Task Force under the HKSOA China Sub-committee. In addition, he is heavily involved with the arts and culture sector, being the founder of Hong Kong Culture Festival (since 2015), and has produced several exhibitions and written a number of books. In 2017, he was an awardee by Secretary for Home Affairs' Commendation Scheme for his distinguished support to the promotion of culture and arts.

Vic Cheung has been the Group Managing Director and Executive Director of Kerry Logistics Network since October 2023 and April 2020, respectively. As Group Managing Director, Vic oversees the Group’s strategic direction and leads its business across the globe. He is a director of Apex Maritime Co., Inc. and its affiliates (collectively, “Apex Group”), which are currently subsidiaries of the Group. He founded Apex Group in 1990 and transformed it into one of the top three volume providers for the Trans-Pacific trade. He is also a director of various subsidiaries of the Group. Vic obtained a bachelor of science degree in business administration and accounting from the San Francisco State University in 1985.

He worked there until 2008 when he joined his family business, Valles Steamship Company, Limited.<br/><br/>Presently Wellington is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Shipowners Association (HKSOA); Chairman of Asian Shipowners’ Association (ASA); Chairman of the HKSOA Maritime Personnel, Education and Training Sub-committee; a member of the Hong Kong Maritime and Port Board; Chairman of the ClassNK Hong Kong Committee; Chairman of Maritime Services Training Board (MSTB) of the Vocational Training Council (VTC); Honorary President of the Institute of Seatransport; Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and Council Member of INTERTANKO, the International Association of Independent Tanker Owners.<br/><br/>Wellington is appointed Justice of the Peace in 2022.</p>

She is also an Executive Director on the Board of Cathay Pacific. Prior to her current roles, Lavinia was Cathay Pacific Director Customer Travel. She has also previously held the position of Cathay Pacific Director Commercial. Lavinia started her career as a Swire Group Management Trainee and joined Cathay Pacific in 1999. Since then, she has held various managerial positions on the commercial side of the airline, including Revenue Management, Sales and Distribution, Planning, e-Business, Alliance, and Loyalty. </p>

He is also Executive Director with board-level oversight of Sustainable Development at Swire Pacific Limited. Mr. Healy is also a Director and chairs the Philanthropy Council of John Swire &amp; Sons (H.K.) Limited. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Air China Limited.<br /><br />Mr Healy has been with the Swire Group for 35 years. He joined John Swire &amp; Sons in 1988 as a management trainee. After six years with the Group’s Industries Division in the Hong Kong SAR and Germany, he transferred to Swire Coca-Cola in 1994, where he worked in various roles in bottling operations in Beijing, Nanjing, Xian and Xiamen until 2012. He was General Manager of the Shaanxi bottler from 2001-2005 and General Manager of the Fujian bottler from 2005-2008. In July 2008 he was appointed CEO, HAECO Xiamen. Mr Healy returned to Hong Kong in 2012 to take up the role of Managing Director, Swire Coca-Cola. He became Chair of Swire Coca-Cola and Cathay Pacific on 1st October and 6th November 2019 respectively.<br /><br />Mr Healy is an Advisory Board Member of the Swire Institute of Marine Science (SWIMS) and a Member of the Employers’ Federation of Hong Kong General Committee.<br /><br />Mr Healy was born in 1965 and graduated in 1988 from St. John’s College, Cambridge University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages. He is married with three children.</p>

After having obtained a degree in Master of Science in Shipping from the University of Plymouth (U.K), he has been instrumental in spearheading the Groups foray in to various diversified businesses such as Logistics, Testing, Inspection &amp; Certification &amp; Liner Agency. Currently he oversees the entire groups business activities included the transformation into digitalization.<br /><br />He has been the youngest President of the Indo-Belgium-Luxembourg-Chamber of Commerce &amp; Industry (IBLCCI) in 2014-15 and has also been on the Board of the Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) in 2013-14. He currently is the President of the Association of Multimodal Transport Operators of India (AMTOI).<br /><br />Mr. Master is also a Trustee of the Zoroastrian Trust Funds of India Dadyseth Charity Trust and The Bandra Parsi Convalescent Home. As part of the Groups corporate social responsibility, he chairs the Pinaz Xerxes Master Foundation which plays a significant role in the field of poverty alleviation, education and medical care.</p>

Dr. Li is also Vice President of China Waterborne Transport Research Institute (WTI), responsible for the management of Sci-Tech Innovation and international cooperation in studies and projects. <br /><br />Dr. Li Qing has long been engaged in research and consultation in the field of waterway transport economics, clean fuels for shipping, safety of navigation, and maritime culture and history. <br /><br />Dr. Li has led and/or participated in over 100 major research projects related to waterway transport, including but not limited to: <br /><br />1) Studies on Development of Strategic Plans for Port and Shipping; <br /><br />2) Study on Use of Clean Fuels (e.g. solar energy and LNG) in Shipping; <br /><br />3) Study on Global Development Trends of Use of Clean Energy in the Maritime Sector; <br /><br />4) Demonstration of Navigational Conditions in Waterways; <br /><br />5) Study on Development of Science and Technologies to Ensure Safety of Navigation. <br /><br />Dr. Li’s dedication extends to preserving maritime culture and history, as he has been a key contributor to the research and documentation of China’s maritime development history. Dr. Li was awarded as “Young Science and Technology Talents in Transportation” by the Ministry of Transport of China, and he has received seven (7) Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technological Awards for technological advancements.</p>
